Fantasy AGE

Out of curiosity: has anyone here have any experience with this system? If so, what's your opinion? What's it like? What kind of games can you run with it?

Fantasy AGE

In reply to Varsovian (msg # 1):

I personally haven't but.. fantasy has dragons in it.. I think I'm sort of a bit confused in general but regardless of this I say if you wanna roleplay within the fantasy type then no one has any real reason to stop you from doing so in the first place but still... I'm merely a newby on here in which you might just decide to google it instead of having to wait for a reply to your post if you want to that is

I've made a few characters and generally like the system.  I haven't had a whole lot of play time with it, but generally found the system sufficient and would like to play more in it at some point.  I know with Modern AGE out, I'm going to be looking at it for a potential future game.

Fantasy AGE

I'm playing just a game using Fantasy AGE as I wanted to try it before making up my mind (and I haven't fully made up my mind yet).
I suggest you try it as well. You can find a couple of Fantasy AGE games on RPoL.

Fantasy AGE

I've run some Dragon Age games, which uses the same game engine. Overall I really like it, but what I noticed is that the combat takes longer than D&D, even though it's less complex than D&D 3.5e or Pathfinder. At least in the experiences I had, everyone has a LOT of hit points so it takes more time to whittle down a foe. I don't know if they addressed that in Fantasy AGE or not.

The stunts are my favorite feature of the game system. They're a lot of fun, they make the game more cinematic, and they allow players a bit more flexibility in what they can do.
