The Wanted Players Section

Hello all. I was skimming through the Wanted Players section and clicked on a few of the posts. I was wanting to check out the game sites, but there are no links to click on. So, may I suggest to those advertising for new or more players for their games, that they put a link to click on if they have an established game. There were a couple I was interested in, but short of rMailing the poster of the advert, there isn't a way to view their game. That is all.

The link is at the top of the page, above the thread. There is a box there telling you about the game. The first line says "This is an advertisement for the game" then ahs the Game's name highlighted in Blue (or whatever color you've adjusted your display to see).  Click on that game name. That's the link.

For very long running games. It takes you to the bottom of the string. So you do have to scroll up quite a ways potentially.

Ah, thank you. I went back and looked again. I tend to put my link in the advert each time I advertise, so that is where I was looking. I have seen others also put it in their advert directly. Thank you for letting me know where else it can be found.

Yes, I have been directed in the right direction. But it would still help if owners put the link into their adverts, that way potential players wouldn't have to scroll to the top or several pages back to find the link. Thank you for the guidance.

Just the top. That header is always there, I believe.

Yes. Thank you. I have been directed in the right direction. But, when the post jumps all the way to the bottom or several pages in when you click on the topic, having the link in the newest advert would be a nice help. That is all. :)

That'd either lead to duplication (every time the GM posts they'd have to add in the link, cos the each time they do a post that's the newest advert) or a bit more work for the GM to edit the previous post to remove the link each time they're posting anew.

And you've have to hope they posted the link right.  And you'd not have to be completely paranoid like me so you might trust the link is going to go to were it says.

However, on Desktop at least (can't vouch for mobile) there's top/bottom arrows anchored to the floating page header/footer, so it's only one click on either the upper or lower top arrow to take you back to the top of the screen where there's the system generated link to the game.  Doesn't matter how many posts/pages there are, the link'll still be there.  :>

Thank you everyone for the input. I had briefly forgotten that the link for the game advertised is at the top/beginning of the topic. No need to keep discussing as far as I am concerned. ;)
