Looking for Semi-Sandbox 5E D&D

Hi.

I'm looking for a structured sandbox game in D&D 5th, preferably starting in the 3rd-8th level range.

By "structured sandbox," I mean there are things going on in the world regardless of our activity, and our choice of what to engage will affect both that course of events as well as what happens while other events run their course uninterrupted.

The level range is so that everyone has chosen their sub-class and so that there's more to do than kill rats, but I'm flexible.

My ideal posting expectation would be every other day. Most of the time I can post daily, but I can't guarantee it.

You hedge your words in such a way that I wonder, and so I propose, would you be willing to play at 1st level if that's just what comes along first?

I have a game that posts a bit slower than every other day, does have about a dozen annual breaks of roughly a week long, during the calendar year, and is...sadly...1st level.

That said, it is very much sandbow with the precise ingredient and acting agent that (I think) makes sandbox functionally fun; events that happen that whether you engage on not will go on. The idea is to engage in some, not little and not all of these events. Maybe you don't care about a cruel prince forcing a girl into marriage. Maybe you really want to raid the recently killed dragon's horde that the adventures woho did only took the skin of and the drunk barbarian slipped his tongue that the horde was still there, and it's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad world to find the dragon's horde. Maybe you really WANT to see the temple of Pholtus catch the criminal charltans asnd supoirt their war on crime, and even stand to bolsters their crusade. Or any combination of indifference, opposition and support. There are so many things to do once you all get to the 3rd level point and have enough street-cred to make name in region, and then later the country, and maybe eventually a place in the world. We could use another player, most of the group posts quite frequently. We have one player who posts slower, but has beena good player. I may, if he returns and you join, put him in mirror group that slower and double down.

Here is the link; and here's the thing. Treat this like business card. Don;t decide about if you want to join NOW. I know it's 1st level. That;s not really what you want. Just mull it over. If no other GM comes yourway, or they do, but their games die, maybe check in every now and then and see what level we're at. I MAY not have room then, but if you mention this thread and link it, I'll certainly give you boost of priority.

Just put it in your back-pocket so to speak. Think on it. It can be a second (or third) option. Okay? Yeah...:)

Thanks, I'll do as you say.

Sandbox style is more important to me than level.

I've been considering a game like this, however, I typically start games at level 1.  An every weekday posting rate would be preferred especially during combats.  Let me know if you're interested and I'll set it up.

In reply to TookyG (msg # 5):

Very interested. Like I said, level is a preference, not an absolute. And combat posts are easy to make every day. Thanks!

Heh, I always thought that flag was just for the players wanted threads.  Anyhow, I created the game but haven't had the opportunity to put anything there yet.  I should have the basic info up tonight.

Feel free to send me a character name, race, and class to get started otherwise you can defer until I get that info posted.  Up to you.
