Pivotal moments that should never be forgotten are scattered throughout history - the Second Wizarding War is no exception. It will go down in infamy as the brutalist war the magical world has ever experienced. During this time many lives were lost; some of their names will be remembered, uttered in reverence from generation to generation, others will never be spoken of again. This momentous occasion happened a mere twenty-five years ago.
With Voldemort vanquished and his followers defeated, the world began to rebuild with no interruption from negative sources. The majority agreed that Voldemort's ideals were not welcome in their world. Those that thought otherwise held their tongue, biding their time when they could rebuild their own forces. Muggle relations prospered and those with mixed blood more welcomed than ever before.
Peace has followed the destruction. Until recently..
Over the past five years history has started to repeat itself. There are those that are aware of the whispers of a new group, known as the Loyalist, that is reaching out and attempting to persuade others that the world could be better if purer blood ran through its veins; they say that magic will eventually disappear if it is watered down enough. They are tired of living in peace with Muggles and believe that those blessed with magic are far superior and should not have to hide in the shadows but rule over the muggle world, too. The crime that had dwindled is rekindling.
There have already been some muggle born disappearances within the Ministry, each came with a believable enough excuse for those that do not want to see the truth. Several have lost their lives in an unsolvable explosion in Diagon Alley. Hogwarts is being infiltrated by those that seek to harm to certain minorities of students. There have even been a few raids that have claimed the lives.
It is time for the Order of the Phoenix to rise again and help dismantle those that seek to cause mayhem in their newly renovated world.

This game is set in the Potterverse but Harry Potter and his band of misfits will not be in the game. They will be mentioned, but they will not be key players. We want to branch out into the world beyond Hogwarts and dive deeper into the magical community.
The GMs want to focus on character development and story, so the pace of the game will not be extremely fast, which means we will not expect more than 2-3 post a week from our players. If there is an opportunity for more, that will be wonderful!
Right now we are only accepting characters that are members of the Order or intend to become members within the beginning of the game. There are only 10-12 slots available (we want to keep the cast small so we can tell a story.)
