Block Party Monster Massacre is a homebrewed OSR-like game. The players take on the role of survivors in an apocalyptic scenario, awaiting evacuation by the military in a suburban neighborhood. The trick is, they don't know what is happening, and neither does the GM, at least until the start of play.

Each game is different, with a different, randomly-generated neighborhood and a different, randomly-generated epic disaster to strike it. Possible scenarios include zombies, vampires, werewolves, aliens, and evil cults, each with their own individual variations. Sure, those are zombies, but are they 28 Days Later fast zombies or Romero shufflers? Is that vampire a blood-smeared sci-fi monster or a magical seducer stepping out of a spellbook? Will it fear your holy cross or laugh at it? And are you willing to bet your life to find out?
