OSE: Gods of the Forbidden North

I was part of the kickstarter for Gods of the Forbidden North, a mega-adventure (authors term) designed for use with Old School Essentials. It looks very cool and I was wondering if there's any interest in trying it out? It can be run either as a hex crawl or more like an adventure path.

Ideally I'd like to run it OSR-style where the dice fall where they may with a full 7-character party.

The game starts with the characters already together in the party, just about to get off a ship on the shores of the Forbidden North. Since it is an original setting I'm thinking none of the original characters should be locals, that way we can discover the setting bit by bit without a lot of required reading up front.

What’s unique to this game world (especially for characters) as opposed to RAW OSR?

Nothing mechanically but there's a lot of cultural tie-ins to the game world. The setting is dominated by humans and basically there's a roman-coded and a barbarian-coded culture.

As starting characters you have all the character options but you'd be an outsider (culturally) by default. Demi-humans are considered outsiders by default.
