Hello. I am in the process of putting a game together, but don't have it set for requesting new players. But I have someone who is going to be helping me set it up and they have sent a Request to Join, but I haven't received anything. So, my question is, does the requesting new players need to be on in order for me to receive that request? Thanks in advance.

He doesn't actually need to send a RTJ...  You can add him as a player (or co-gm) directly through the gm menu...

Also, no.  The Requesting Players flag doesn't need to be on for you to receive RTJs.

When I first started on here, I didn't know anything about PbP operations, or even forums in general, and the friend who invited me to join the site (so I could join the game he was creating here) had to talk me through every single step of the way...via MySpace...

I created my first e-mail address on Hotmail in 1996 and I'm still using it :D.

If its an Adult game they may not have that access yet.  You know how long that takes.  If they are already a player there should be no problem in the RTJ unless they have an Adult ban on them.  So Rmail talk with the player and see if they received any kind of system notice.  Other than that there should be no problem that I am aware of.
