If you are interested in playing, keep the following in mind...
- Trust In The Emperor's Will
I will try to be fair and try to keep things interesting and fun, but in order to do so I need your trust and respect. The mechanics of the game take a backseat to the narrative, and if I give a ruling on a situation that seems contrary to the mechanics you can point it out and reference the book to make sure I know the Rules-as-Written, but I do not tolerate whining or lawyering.
- Only In Death Does Duty End
Mortality being what it is, please be prepared for characters to take a lot of punishment. Crippling damage is a significant part of the system, but those moments are an opportunity for camaraderie or heroism. The outcome will be just as rewarding as survival, if not more so.
- No Mercy, No Respite
Be prepared for violence, foul language, and heavy-handed commanders.
- Ignorance is a Virtue of the Dutiful
I have no problem helping anyone with schedule conflicts or absences, but in the heat of combat if you are inactive for more than 2 days I will NPC your turn and take whatever action I think fits the situation and your character's demeanor.
