I'm looking for background first and all character sheets should fit the character's background. I may have some comments on your background and your character sheet.

I'm looking for the following:
No more than six 250 point characters with up to -50 points of disadvantages and -5 points in quirks.

Your character doesn’t have to be a professional adventurer, but they should still be capable. Being proficient or expert in a few of melee combat, ranged combat, military knowledge, healing, divine magic, holy knowledge, sorcery, magic knowledge, exploration, dungeon delving, outdoors knowledge, bypassing traps/locks, parkour, stealth, investigation, social interaction, and urban knowledge should be useful.

If you want to be a librarian or an officer in the Imperial Navy; a blacksmith or the local cat burglar, all of those could work. Though having six librarians who together have all needed proficiencies may be a little incredulous.

Preparation:
If players know each other or players for other reasons collaborate and make characters that know each other, that is permissible, but generally speaking, the characters will not know each other.

Each of you will have an introductory thread; it will take place on what the Imperial Calendar calls the Festival of Transition, also known as the Day of Janosh, of the year 999 4A. In the real world, we would say it’s New Year's Eve and tomorrow is year 1,000! Those of you who were around 20 years ago know that that was a big deal. There was the Y2K scare, but more importantly for this campaign, an even greater reason to party. In addition, the Second and the Third Age were both 1,000 years long and many think the Fourth Age will be too, so this may very well be the last New Year's Eve of this Age!

But despite your plans, or perhaps because of your plans, you went to bed and will be sleeping before midnight.

You can start basically anywhere in Remulus.

You do not need to worry about starting gear. You can assume that you have any gear a person of your status, wealth, rank, and position has.
