Nestled at the bottom and marooned on jagged rocks lay a great metal vessel. It looked much like a ship for sailing the seas, but its hull was metal and not wood. There were not masts and a sail atop it, but instead two tall chimneys and from one of them was rising up the dark black plume of smoke. This ship did not seem to be a new resident of this valley, its hull was a deep burnt orange from rust and the earth all about the ship was stained the same color. The sides of the ship were gouged, as though it had been dragged across the rocks, and left jagged black holes leading deeper inside the vessel.

This strange ship was an enigma. There were no signs of a sea for it to sail on and no crew manning its decks. What it did hold was a hull full of hungry savages, feral beings that may have once been human, but now seemed little better than animals. Members of the expedition had seen first hand the violence these creatures were capable of and their appetites, devouring their own dead in the aftermath of their fight. This strange vessel held secrets and dangers and, most importantly, it offered resources. A near endless supply of metal not to mention the more exotic substances that likely fueled the ship. For those who were willing to risk visiting, there were treasures to uncover.

Traits of the Beached Ship

Overwhelming Odds: Adventures here will have you facing large crowds of foes if you draw their attention that is. Once the inhabitants of this ship are aware of your presence their attacks will become increasingly fierce.
Violent Opposition: There are times that there is value in diplomacy and eloquence. This ship is not one of them, expect violence and bring ways to respond in kind.
Abundant Materials: At the end of any visit to the Ship you gain 2 Materials representing the abundance available there.
