This servitor's face is largely intact, save for one eye and a portion of the skull where the cerebral implants to convert it from a ruined corpse into a usable maintenance drone were installed.  Various external articulation pistons line the one remaining arm, providing support structure to the otherwise frail limb.


The other arm has been replaced with a shoulder-mounted servo-limb, with precision leveling instruments and a inbuilt las-welder.   The remainder of the unit from the ribcage downward has been properly reconstructed with a full cybernetic motile system, and internal storage for a full suite of anointed handtools.

Unfortunately, there is nothing to be done about the unit's tendency to wimper or make agonal gasps while working, or the occasional slips from Techna-lingua into Low Gothic begging when under fire, or the crying when damaged. Attempts to curb this have resulted in unacceptable degradation in performance;
Recommend reminding non-mechanicum personel that servitor is made from confirmed brain-dead base template, and such disconcerting stimuli are merely the byproduct of the mandatory interface of machine spirit and preserved brain stem.

Player characters operating or repairing vehicles and equipment with the assistance of a Calyx-pattern Task Servitor gain an additional +10 bonus to relevant tests.  However, the servitor lacks the programming or equipment for direct combat, and cannot participate in the Ranged Volley or Close Quarters Combat orders.
