Basic Background/Story Information:
Keara Dupree was born into a family of witches. She learned from an early age how to harness her power and abilities. Many of her family helped her along the way to learn what to do and how to do it. When she turned 7 she was given a werewolf puppy as a gift. The wolf grew up with her and today is her bodyguard.

The summer that Keara turned 20, her home and family was attacked by hunters who sought to rid the world of witches. Keara along with others escaped and made their way to the local ports and boarded ships. The ship that Keara and her wolf boarded was heading to discover new lands. During the voyage, she discovered that she wasn’t the only supernatural being on board. There were other werewolves and vampires. She had made friends with many of them.

One stormy night the ship happened to be approaching an unknown island. The crew didn’t see the island or the jagged rocks that surrounded it until it was too late and the ship wrecked, at least that is what they believed to be the cause of the shipwreck. Many of the mortals perished beneath the waves, but Keara along with others found themselves washed up on shore as the sun rose the next morning.

Several years have passed since that dreadful night and Keara along with others, worked together to build a pirate town. She is happy with her life and walks proudly in the streets of her Roost.
