Nor

Nor's a young dwarf, still, and while his beard is full, it's not as full as it were an elder.  He's got brown hair so dark it passes for black in low light, and a beard like a shovel blade...he might use some wax to help keep it that way, but a gentleman doesn't tell.

Hazel eyes, solidly built, and wearing a voluminous cloak with a hood over a sturdy mail coat.  Burin's Helm sits on his noggin, and scabbarded to his thick belt is a wide-blade cleaving sword, and tucked in is a pair of throwing axes.

Attached to his simple pack is a stout shield, and he wears gloves and boots seemingly of the same light leather.

Nór of Durin's folk.   Solidly a young dwarf at 55 years of age, Nór is originally from the Iron Hills.  Twenty-four years earlier, at the Battle of Five Armies, (TA 2941) he was barely a stripling, and because of that (*probably), he was part of the supply and caravans department, not as a warrior on the field.  Still, he was there, and that counts for something.   He carried many fellow dwarves to shelter and aid from that field, and sat with a few as they breathed their last.  He will carry those memories to his own grave.  When the King Under The Mountain recognized his kin, Nór was proud to count himself among them.

But more than that, it stirred his simple heart.  A caravaner he would not be; but instead a traveler who would Warden those who could not hold back the Dark on their own.

Retool then as a Warden, with a modified 'THE GRIEF OF AZANULBIZAR'; adding 'THE GRIEF OF FIVE ARMIES' and to his grandparents' memories adding his own.

A great war was fought between the Dwarves and the Orcs of the Misty Mountains almost two centuries ago. The parents and grandparents of most Dwarves, including yours, remember the horrors of that war; you have vowed to mete out justice to all Orc-kind.

and then a slight move from Simple (what I rolled) to Half-Wise; lowering his Heart TN by one and raising his Wits TN.

Swords, then Axes are his weapon proficiencies.
His Warden favored skills are Awareness and Healing
His Reward is Burin's Helm, gained as a gift from a fallen warrior on the field of Five Armies.  It fits him perfectly, +2 Protection.
His Virtue is Hope.
I'd like a mix of skills, so I plan on adding to things I have a zero in, like Awareness, Healing, Enhearten, and Insight.  I'll leave the weapon skills alone.

All submitted in public, so we can coordinate.

I'm not sure of the Heir tie-in, but I imagine that Nor has been 'operating' around Bree for about five years or so, trying to help, interdicting the stray goblin or ork.  His skill at healing might make him a more welcome sight than most dwarves, and his willingness to carry messages and news, as well.  Truth be told, hes not *exactly* sure what he's supposed to do, but if you're a dwarf travelling along the road, and you want an extra hand to share the night watch, and deter raiders of any kind, Nor is your guy.  If you have a tie-in that we can work together, let me know!
